Jack Smartt

BIOGRAPHY

Jack is an Associate at Sky Island Capital. He is responsible for all aspects of deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution, as well as portfolio company management.

Prior to joining Sky Island, Jack was an Analyst at Piper Sandler in Charlotte, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions for middle-market companies in the services and industrials sector.

EDUCATION

Jack graduated from the Wake Forest University School of Business with a BS in Finance and a minor in Statistics.

PERSONAL

Jack was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and enjoys spending time playing basketball and tennis, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Tennessee Titans.
