Kevin Caldwell

BIOGRAPHY

Kevin is the Director of Continuous Improvement at Sky Island. He works closely with Sky Island’s portfolio companies to support, coach, train, and lead optimization of manufacturing and quality opportunities to promote value creation. Kevin spends greater that 80% of his time on-site with Sky Island’s portfolio companies.

Kevin has spent more than 45 years working closely with manufacturing companies and in quality management both as an executive and as a consultant. He has lived and worked all over the world, including North America, South America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.

Kevin has held the positions of Global Quality Director for two organizations, Vice President of Operations for three organizations, and Executive Vice President of Global Operations for another.

EDUCATION

Kevin received a Bachelor of Science in Management from Western Carolina University. He also completed Financial Management courses at the University of Virginia – Darden School and Postgraduate Management Studies at Piedmont Management Institute.

Kevin’s certifications include Six Sigma Master Black Belt-Juran Global, Lean Master-Juran Global, Certified Quality Auditor-ASQ, Certified Quality Engineer-ASQ, and Registered Lead Assessor of Quality Systems-John Dodkins IRCA England.

PERSONAL

Kevin lives in the Nashville Tennessee area. Outside of work he enjoys fitness training seven days a week, water sports, golf, and travel.
